- Tickets for visitors in wheelchairs are available by phone (00 49 30 61 20 26 20).
- Early boarding is offered for almost all performances. This allows you to enter the theater before the official doors open and choose your seat at your leisure.
- Alternative seating and reclining options are available for almost all performances.
- On Wednesdays and Saturdays, the plays are shown with surtitles. Dance pieces and other formats with little text are excluded.
- Many plays have descriptions in Easy Language.
- Selected events are accompanied by audio descriptions and translated into German Sign Language.

Explanation
The Deutsches Theater Berlin is one of the most important spoken-word theaters in Germany. The theater has three different stages: the Deutsches Theater (approx. 600 seats), the Kammerspiele (approx. 230 seats), and the Blackbox (approx. 80 seats). Classical plays, contemporary performances, and current events are presented on these various stages.

- Visitors with wheelchairs must register their visit one day before the performance.
- Access to the theater is via a ramp and elevator at the entrance.
- Tactile tours for blind and visually impaired people are offered for selected performances, followed by audio descriptions.
- Visitors with disabilities who require a companion receive two tickets for half price.
- Selected events are accompanied by English surtitles. The surtitles can be viewed in the first tier or in the stalls from row 10 onwards at the Deutsches Theater, and from row 8 onwards at the Kammerspiele.
- The SAAL (gallery foyer) at the Deutsches Theater is not wheelchair accessible.

- Accessible access to the theater is via a ramp at the main entrance and an elevator to the right of the entrance.
- Wheelchair seats are located in rows 8 and 10 of the auditorium.
- Wheelchair users are asked to register their visit by email or phone at least 4 days before the performance.
- A free ticket for the accompanying person must also be registered.
- All German-language plays will have English surtitles, except for premiere performances. Plays not in German will be shown with German surtitles.
- Selected performances will be translated into German Sign Language.
